Stadium, commercial center and service complex located at the crossing of E40 and E17 highways in Ghent, Belgium. The field of the local football club, however developed as a building entirely enclosed in aluminum glazed curtain wall, that allows to profit by the vast usable surface under tribunes and under top roofing. Apparently simple façade grid, nevertheless on quite a difficult building form, as geometry and as development process: external walls on curved plan are pending outwards (in fact four parts of an upside-down cone), with variable "wavy" height; internal walls, lounges facing the football field, are mainly glazed with huge, over 1000 kg panes, installed over the top tribunes' line from 35 meter arm crane - a real challenge. Logistic was also a huge effort, design and milling done in Poland, installation in Belgium.
  • 20.000 m2 in total of aluminum and glass construction
  • mullion and transom façade with top hung windows, motorized
  • semi-structural façade with oversize glazing
  • specialized installation of LED lights on vertical capping profiles
  • aluminum panel cladding
