RAFC – Royal Antwerp Football Club, Belgia

The main tribune of the football club’s stadium with the greatest traditions in Belgium, i.e. the “royals” from Antwerp. Quite a simple post and beam façade, with very large and heavy glazing, especially in the VIP lounges from the pitch side. A special aspect of this implementation is the facade illumination system and the use of glass planes as a screen displaying advertisements and information. In addition to the LED strips distributed on all pole masks, the central part of the stand has special glass sets with LED spots and hairline wires in the cavity between the panes. These multicolored points of light, like “pixels”, form a series of computer-programmed images on the entire façade plane, without disturbing either the transparency of the glazing or its parameters as a partition. The facility was completed in a record time of 9 weeks.
